Solomon what an Angel this boy is. 12 years old and after living in a pen his whole life his owner dumps him at a shelter... Fortunately they called us to see if we could make room for this very sweet guy. We immediately said yes and started the wheels rolling to arrange transport since he was 3.5 hours away. When he came in we had to cut his collar off and try and deflea and de-tick him. His ears also have never been attended to and have chronic infection. Of course he is heartworm positive..... This incredible loving and gentle soul has been neglected his entire life. Well we are committed to make that change and give him a clean, warm and loving place to rest for the time he has left. We are looking for a permanant foster situation for him. A home with few to no stairs would be best as his back end is weak.
