Welcome to Grateful Goldens Rescue website. Grateful Goldens Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2004 to address a need to help abandoned, abused, and unwanted Golden Retrievers in the Charleston South Carolina Low Country and Coastal Georgia areas including Savannah GA. We foster our Golden Retrievers in a home environment while bringing them back to optimal physical and mental health. We then adopt these Goldens into loving, forever homes. This site is designed as a tribute to the Golden Retrievers that have become a part of Grateful Goldens and the volunteers who make it possible for Grateful Goldens Rescue to give a second chance to Golden Retrievers in need.
