Darla first came into rescue in 2014 as a young one-year-old pup. Life recently took an unexpected turn when family medical circumstances made it impossible for her family to continue caring for her. Thanks to our Golden Guardian Program, Darla has been given the loving safety net she deserves and has been placed as a permanent foster.
The good news? Darla has already landed exactly where she belongs. She was welcomed into the home of her devoted foster dad and his energetic three-year-old son, and she's settled in beautifully. It didn't take long for Darla to bond with both of them, and she is already enjoying the love, comfort, and companionship of her new family.
We are incredibly grateful to her foster dad for opening his heart and home to Darla, providing her with a warm bed, a caring family, and all the love she deserves for the rest of her days.

My Challenges ~ Arthritis and onset of kidney issues. Taking pain medication daily and is on a prescription dog food to regulate kidney function.
