As you consult your attorney on the appropriate wording, be sure that the organization’s legal name appears in all final documents as: Grateful Goldens Rescue of the Low Country, Inc. Federal Tax Identification Number 20-0861927.
Language can be as simple as: “I give, devise, and bequeath (DESCRIPTION OF YOUR GIFT) to Grateful Goldens Rescue of the Low Country, Inc., a non-profit organization located at PO Box 2799, Myrtle Beach, SC 29578, Federal Tax Identification number 20-0861927, for Grateful Goldens Rescue of the Low Country’s general use and purpose.”
Bequests would help GGR protect and improve the lives of Goldens and Golden mixes by providing the best possible care of dogs in our rescue.
